A1 Beginner

For candidates beginning their German language journey.

Exam fee: 165,000 RWF

A2 Elementary

For candidates who can communicate in familiar everyday situations and understand basic German.

Exam fee: 173,000 RWF

Written Exam: 125,000 RWF
Oral Exam: 48,000 RWF

B1 Intermediate

For candidates who can communicate independently in many everyday and professional situations.

Full Exam: 245,200 RWF

Reading: 40,600 RWF
Listening: 40,600 RWF
Writing: 108,000 RWF
Oral: 56,000 RWF

B2 Upper Intermediate

For candidates beginning their German language journey.

Exam fee: 263,000 RWF

Written Exam: 190,000 RWF
Oral Exam: 73,000 RWF

C1 Advanced

For advanced German language users who require a higher level of language certification.

Exam fee: 300,000 RWF

Written Exam: 210,000 RWF
Oral Exam: 90,000 RWF

How to Register

Registration is completed through the following five steps:

Results & Certificates

When Will I Receive My Result?

Standard examination results are expected to be released within approximately 5 weeks after the examination.

Need Your Result Earlier?

Be Ubuntu offers an Express Result option.

Express Result: approximately 2 weeks

Additional fee: 150,000 RWF

The Express Result option is available for candidates who require their examination result earlier.
